About the inventory
It is loosely based on the work of Berscheid, Snyder and Omoto as published in 1989 (bear in mind the world has evolved a lot since then) in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (vol 57, issue 5).
The original study targeted 241 students, so many of the activity prompts still lean toward that population.
You get a mark on a 10-point scale for how close you feel toward one person. To evaluate the relationship as a whole, both of you can take the test and average the scores — or add them for a 20-point scale.
