Relationship Closeness Inventory

As seen on The Big Bang Theory

The relationship Closeness Inventory is a short survey you can take to evaluate the frequency, diversity and strength of a relationship to another person.

It is loosely based on the work of Bersheid, Snyder and Omoto as published in 1989 (bare in mind the world evolved a lot since then) in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (vol 57, issue 5).

Take the test

The test was written for a target audience of 241 students and therefore the questions are oriented towards said population.

The result you will get here is a mark on a 10 points scale for your relationship towards a person. If you want to evaluate the relationship as a whole, we suggest you both take the test and calculate an average of the two results or simply add them to get it on a 20 points scale.

Finally you can share your results on Twitter or Facebook and compare to your friends just as Sheldon did with Leonard to the expense of Amy and Penny :)
